Bed bugs are nocturnal parasites that feed on the blood of humans. If you have a bed bug infestation they may be located within the seam of your mattress, around the carpet edges, between the floorboard crevices and beneath loose wallpaper.
The most common cause of bed bugs is from luggage as they are more commonly found in motels, hostels, shelters and apartment complexes.
The first sign of a bed bug infestation is the presence of seemingly structured bites, unlike fleas, the bed bug bites may appear as a cluster or linear formation. Other signs include blood on your mattress or sheets, dark spots in the cracks of the mattress or carpet edges, they are often associated with a musty smell in high infestation areas.
